Kinect Hacks (2012 and on)
I gathered a Kinect back in December of 2010 for Christmas. After seeing an awesome video of someone hacking the Kinect I decided to get in on the action and design some of my own hacks.
For most of the hacks I designed the code through Visual Studio .NET. For example, KinClick was built using VB.net and some C# to get the drivers going. This project was a basic keyboard to use on Windows 7. If I am not mistaken I think I was the first one to build this for Windows 7.
After that I started hooking the Kinect up to the 3D engine Unity 3D. I can say that this *will* be the future of computing interfacing. I love new technology!
